Over 10,000 release certificates issued in Oman in Q2 2020

Muscat: More than 13,500 certificates of release have been issued in the second quarter of  year 2020, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion announced.

A statement said: "The number of certificates of release issued for important commodities of mechanical and metal products, electrical products, chemical products, building materials products, food and agricultural products sector reached 13,576 in the second quarter of the year 2020."

"The number of release certificates issued for the mechanical and metallic products sector was 1,317.  There were 1,436 release certificates issued for electrical products. In the chemical products sector, there were 1,110 certificates of release issued."

"Statistics indicated that the number of certificates of release in the building materials products sector was 9,686. The number of release certificates for the food and agricultural products sector reached 27."
