Muscat: Dar Al Atta’a Association in cooperation and coordination with Carrefour Oman has launched the direct donation service, by cash or payment by card.
The initiative is aimed to facilitate and speed up payment of donations by whoever is interested in donation with the remaining balance of the bill in case of cash or payment by card at all branches of Carrefour Oman.
The donation procedure is simple, all you need is to inform the cashier the interest to donate the balance amount of the bill and the cashier will add the item of donation to the amount of the bill.
About the initiative, Dr Shamsa bint Hamad Al Harthi, Director General of Dar Al Atta’a expressed her delight over the launch of the service and extended her thanks, on behalf of Dar al Atta’a, to Carrefour Oman for their continued support.
She said that the initiative contributes to facilitation of the collection of amounts raised will go for the family welfare programme and the Islamic values programme at Dar Al Atta’a.
Najib Hadad, Regional Director of Carrefour Oman at Majid Al Futtaim Retail, said, “We are happy working with Dar Al Atta’a to serve the Omani society and the support of local economy.”
“We are delighted with the start of our first cooperation with Dar Al Atta’s, known for its hard work and efforts supportive to the various needy sectors and families in Oman and its various initiatives,” he said.
“We would continue our support, services and contributions to the initiatives supportive to the various sectors of the society such as the family welfare programme and the Islamic values programme run by Dar Al Atta,” he added.
