Mazoon Dairy inaugurates integrated facility in Al Sunainah

Muscat: The Mazoon Dairy Company celebrated the inauguration of its integrated facilities in the Wilayat of Al-Sunainah. 

A statement issued online by Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources said, "The inauguration ceremony was sponsored by His Excellency Dr Saud bin Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, in the presence of His Excellency Qais bin Mohammad Al Yousuf, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Ahmed Al Busaidi, Governor of Al Buraimi, and His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Bakri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources, His Excellency Dr. Saleh bin Said Masan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion , the Governor of the state and a number of officials and members of the company's board of directors."

The Mazoon Dairy Company is the largest integrated dairy project in the Sultanate, with an estimated capital of 100 million Omani Rivals. it is located in the wilayat of Al-Sunainah in Al-Buraimi Governorate and was built on an area of 15 square kilometres.

The company was established in 2015 as a closed joint stock company and it is the first 100% Omani company in this promising sector. It mainly works in the manufacture and distribution of a wide range of dairy products and juices. The company includes the latest dairy farm and a central processing plant, and the company started production operations in October in the year 2019.

Their product range includes fresh milk, pasteurised milk, flavoured milk, yogurt, ice cream, cheese, juices and many more products.
