Citizen airlifted to hospital in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman has conducted the medical evacuation of a citizen in Musandam governorate.

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Defence (MoD), said: "A helicopter of the Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation operation for a citizen suffering from a critical health condition. He was transferred from Dibba Hospital to Khasab Hospital in Musandam Governorate to receive the necessary specialised treatment.

"This comes within the framework of the humanitarian services and national efforts that the Sultan's Armed Forces and other departments of the Ministry of Defense provide to citizens and residents on the homeland, side by side with the rest of other government institutions," the statement added.
