Muscat: The Oman Embassy in Cairo has clarified about the exemption of citizens of the Republic of Egypt from entry visas to the Sultanate.
A statement issued online by The Embassy of Oman in Cairo said, "The embassy would like to clarify about the exemption of citizens of the Arab Republic of Egypt from entry visas to the Sultanate for a period of 10 days to have one of the following countries visas (the United States of America, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Schengen countries, Japan) or those who have valid residency in the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in one of the specified occupations. Also, they must have health insurance for a period of one month that includes COVID-19, hotel reservation and return ticket. "
"Whoever wishes to visit for more than 10 days must obtain a visa sponsored by one of the tourism companies in the Sultanate," the statement added.
