Oman’s share index decline marginally

Muscat: Muscat Securities Market index on Wednesday lost 5.1 points, comprising a decline of 0.14 per cent to close at 3,598,91 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 3,603,99 points.

The total value of trading stood at OMR1.21 million, comprising a rise of 86.7 per cent, compared to the last session, which stood at OMR659,739.

The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value declined by 0.030 per cent to reach about OMR20.11) billion.

It further added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached OMR150,000) while The shares sold by non-Omani investors reached OMR274,000.

The net non-Omani investment declined by 10.09 per cent to OMR124,000.
