Close to 15,000 people vaccinated in Oman

Muscat: Approximately 15,000 people have taken Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine in the Sultanate during the period from 27th December 2020 till 9th January 2021, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced on Saturday.

A statement issued online by MOH said, "The number of people who have vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine in the first phase of the national campaign for immunisation against Covid 19 in the Sultanate reached 14,980, and the target group coverage rate in the Sultanate reached 54 per cent."
