Citizen airlifted to hospital in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman has conducted a medical evacuation for a citizen who was suffering from a critical health condition.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "Early this morning, a helicopter of the Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation of a female citizen suffering from a critical health condition. The patient was transferred from Dibba Hospital in Musandam Governorate to Sohar Hospital in North Al Batinah Governorate to receive the necessary specialised treatment."

"The transfer of the patient comes within the framework of the humanitarian services and national efforts that the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other departments of the Ministry of Defense provide to citizens and residents on the homeland, side by side with the rest of other government institutions," the statement added.
