Muscat: The Ministry of Social Development has urged societies and community clubs to hold electronic society meetings via visual video only.
A statement issued online by Ministry of Social Development said: "Based on the instructions issued by the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19 regarding the suspension of holding events and local activities of a public nature and meetings, The Ministry calls on associations and community clubs to abide by holding electronic society meetings electronically via visual communication only, with the importance of commitment to fulfilling all the conditions and legal texts necessary to hold the meeting."
