House raided in Muscat for unlicensed commercial operations

Muscat: A residential house has been raided by Muscat Municipality for practicing unlicensed activity.

A statement issued online said: "The municipality of Muscat in Muttrah Al-Kubra raided a house in one of the regions of the wilayat for violating its use conditions. Expatriate workers were using the house as a headquarters for practicing the activity of sewing clothes without obtaining a municipal license, which contravenes the provisions of Administrative Resolution No. 55/2017 regarding administrative penalties for violations in Muscat Municipality."
