Omani students in Texas safe, Cultural Attaché confirms

Muscat: The Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of the Sultanate in Washington confirmed that Omani students in Texas are safe from the snowstorm and cold wave that swept across the American state recently.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said :"The Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of the Sultanate in Washington affirms that the conditions of the Omani students in Texas are good and reassures all that the students are fine."

The Attaché also pointed out that the snowstorm hit the southwestern part of the state of Texas, which is far from the University of North Texas, which is located in the northeastern part of the state.
