
Muscat: There are chances of dust storms over desert and open areas of Al Dakhiliyah and North Al Sharqiyah governorates, Oman Meteorology said on Sunday.
A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said: "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chances of dusty winds over desert and open areas of Al Dakhiliya and North Al Sharqiyah governorates. Chances of late night and early morning low level clouds or fog patches over parts of Al Buraimi, South Al Sharqiyah and Al Wusta governorates."
The expected maximum and minimum temperature will be 32 degrees Celsius and 19 degrees in Muscat Governorate, 34 degrees and 22 degrees in the wilayat of Sohar and 30 degrees and 16 degrees in the wilayat of Ibri , 34 degrees and 20 degrees in the wilayat of Nizwa and 30 degrees and 20 degrees in the wilayat of Rustaq .A fog warning was also issued.
According to Oman News Agency (ONA), the highest temperature expected on Sunday is 37 degrees in the wilayat of Al-Mudhaibi and the lowest is 9 degrees in Jabal Shams.
