Highest temperature in Oman on Saturday crosses 40 degrees

Muscat: The temperature has exceeded 40 degrees Celsius at Suwaiq and Al Khaboura stations and is considered as the highest temperature among the meteorological stations of the Sultanate on Saturday.

A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said: "Suwaiq and Al Khaboura stations have recorded 40.5 degrees Celsius, the highest temperature among the meteorological stations yesterday. Mhadhah station recorded 15.2 degrees as the lowest temperature."
