Cooking with toddlers made easy

PEANUT BUTTER BALLS
Ingredients
1 cup crushed cornflakes
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup butter softened (½ stick)
Preparation
In a large bowl, add crushed cornflakes, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and butter. Stir until uniformly combined and smooth.
Shape into teaspoon-sized balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Chill at least 30 minutes for them to set before serving.



PINEAPPLE DOUGHNUTS

Ingredients
4-6 pineapple slices
1/3 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread /sauce
Preparation
Spread the chocolate hazelnut sauce on the pineapple slices.
Top with small slices of strawberries, sprinkles and chocolate chips before serving.


FROZEN BANANA POPSICLES

Ingredients
4 bananas (peeled)
2 cups of chocolate chips
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
8 popsicle sticks or skewers

Preparation
Cut each banana in half. Stick a skewer or popsicle stick into the cut end of the banana.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and butter.
Microwave the chocolate and butter in 20 to 30 second intervals, stirring until the mixture is smooth and completely melted.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Dip the bananas in the melted chocolate mixture.
Wait for the excess chocolate to drip off the bananas before lying flat on the parchment-lined sheet.
Put the tray of bananas in the freezer for 10 minutes for the chocolate to harden.
Serve cold.

MANGO GUACAMOLE
Ingredients

3 medium ripe avocados – peeled and seed removed
1 large ripe mango, peeled
1/4 cup of chopped fresh corainder
3 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp salt
Preparation
Add the avocados and mango to a mixing bowl. Mash well with a spoon.
Stir in the coriander, lime juice and salt. Mix well to combine.
Serve with tortilla chips
