Muscat: Rainfall is expected on the Al Hajar Mountains and the surrounding areas for the second day in a row, with thunderstorms and sometimes accompanied by active winds and hail.
The Oman Meteorology said in a statement: "There is a possibility of convective clouds formation and scattered rain, sometimes thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds, and hail falling on the Al Hajar Mountains and adjacent areas during the afternoon and evening. Including chances of low clouds or fog at the end of the night and early morning in parts of the coasts of South Al Sharqiyah Governorate."
In general, the weather is clear to partly cloudy on the coastal strip of the Governorate of Dhofar and the surrounding mountains, with intermittent rainfall and clear sky in general over the rest of the governorates of Oman.
