Thunderstorms, isolated rainfall predicted over parts of Oman

Muscat: There are chances of thunderstorms over some parts of Oman, said Oman Meteorology on Sunday.

"The weather is partly cloudy to cloudy skies along the coastal areas of Dhofar Governorate and the adjoining mountains with a chance of isolated rainfall. Clear skies in rest of Oman with low level clouds or fog in the Arabian Sea coasts," Oman Meteorology said in its daily weather forecast.

The statement added that convective clouds formation and rain occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms over the Al Hajar Mountains, adjoining areas and parts of Dhofar Governorate are to be expected in the afternoon and evening can be expected.
