Muscat: SalamAir launched its first direct flights from Muscat to Bursa, Turkey on Thursday, June 16, 2022.
According to the Oman News Agency (ONA), SalamAir launched its first direct flights from Muscat to the Turkish city of Bursa, starting today, with three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, thus becoming the third destination after the cities of Istanbul and Trabzon.
Captain Mohamed Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir, confirmed that the company is keen to add destinations of interest to travellers, noting that Bursa is rich in many tourist attractions and activities such as adventure, attractions and shopping, in addition to its mild weather.
He added that the company is seeking to expand its network, link the Sultanate of Oman with new stations with direct flights, and work on adding new aircraft to its fleet to operate more flights to various destinations and give passengers on SalamAir better options while maintaining the cost competitiveness of its services.
