Oman crime: Fuel station employee arrested for stealing OMR10,000

Muscat: Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested a gas station employee who stole OMR10,000 from the petrol pump where he used to work in the wilayat of Minah, Al Dakhiliyah governorate.
An ROP source in Al Buraimi said they received information about the Asian national's intentions to escape the country.
ROP deployed patrols to track the suspect near Wadi Al Jazi borders.
He was arrested near the border and confessed to the crime.
