Recipe of the week: Rose Sherbet

Muscat: With mercury rising around the globe, all one wants is a chilled drink to cool down the summer heat! This week we have something refreshing that even kids can make, good way to keep them busy during the holidays ha?

Ingredients:

1 and half cups double cream milk

2 Tbsp rose syrup

1 Tbsp basil seeds soaked in water till they bloat

Sugar, to taste

Ice, as needed

Method:

In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients and stir well.

Serve chilled in tall glasses over ice.

You could throw in a few rose petals to add some glamour!
