Muscat: HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat, will patronize the opening of the National Symposium on Enhancing Economic Development in the Governorates, titled "Economically Empowered Governorates," to be held this Thursday. The symposium is organized by the Ministry of Interior, with the participation of several government units and institutions concerned with economy and investment.
The symposium will feature a number of sessions and working papers aimed at enhancing economic development in the governorates. Key themes will include investment opportunities and the empowerment of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The event will also serve as a platform to discuss mechanisms for integration among investment-relevant authorities. Furthermore, participants will exchange visions and ideas designed to raise the efficiency of economic activity in the governorates and strengthen their contribution to achieving sustainable development.
