Huge quantities of inedible meat destroyed in Oman

Muscat: Omani municipal inspection teams conducted raids in two houses in Wilayat Seeb and destroyed close to 200 kilograms of meat that violated the country’s health code.

In an online statement, Muscat Municipality said, "Two houses were raided in the Wilayat Seeb and close to 200 kilograms of meat was destroyed.”

“The two houses were run by expat workers without taking into consideration the health standards and the municipality regulations,” the statement added.
