Fishermen asked to remove damaged boats from beach in Oman

Muscat: Fishermen have been asked to remove damaged and discarded boats, ships and equipment from the beach of the fishing port in Khasab.

The General Directorate of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources said: "Port visitors, kindly remove the damaged and discarded boats, ships and equipment from the shore of the fishing port in Khasab. This is causing bad aesthetics and random equipment impedes the use of the beach."

"The port administration, in coordination with the competent authorities, intends to take all legal measures in this direction," the authority added.
