HM receives thanks from Sudanese president

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has received a cable of thanks from Field Marshal Omar Hassan Ahmad Al Bashir, President of the Republic of Sudan in reply to His Majesty's congratulatory cable on the occasion of the 60th Independence Anniversary of his country.
In his cable, President Al Bashir expressed his thanks and appreciation for His Majesty the Sultan's sincere congratulations, wishing His Majesty continuous health and happiness and the Omani people further progress under the wise leadership of His Majesty.
